Coach's Notes
Power 1 & 2
Power 2 was a much different story for us when compared to Power 1. In Power 1, we were right there in every match, we just couldn't quite pull it out. In Power 2, we had a coming out party and really made some big strides, finishing 2nd overall and moving up to Division 3. The girls said it themselves; we started to trust in each other. That only comes from playing together more and more, but it's great to see the girls realizing that it's not skill that kept us down in Power 1 but it was trust in each other, and if Power 2 is any sign of things to come then the rest of this season is going to be a lot of fun.
Crossroads
We went 3-5 in the tournament, never quite finding that same chemistry we had in the Showdown. We saw some good things, and some things that we will use to learn from. We also got to see teams from outside of Colorado, which is always nice so that you get to see different teams.
Power 3
We ended the day taking 2nd in our pool after losing a tough match in 3 for 1st. We lost the crossover to take 4th in an uncharacteristic fashion, but we will remain in Division 3 for Power 4 and hopefully we can make a push into Division 2.
